A lot of people wish that they could have an hour glass shape because they think it’s the ideal body shape. In some ways, that’s true. However, hour glass figures still need to dress for their particular shape.
Dresses- The dresses that you wear should draw attention to your waist. Dresses that are balanced are ideal for you. If your dress has a full sleeve then the bottom portion of your body should also be full (dress, skirt, etc.). You don’t want to put more on top that the bottom and vice versa. If you do, then you create the illusion that one half of your body is larger than the other half. Stay away from shapeless dresses that just hang on your body. These dresses hide your hour glass shape. Full skirts that cinch the waist are your kind of skirt!
Tops- Because you have great curves, you want to choose a top that will accentuate your waist. Shapeless tops and baby doll tops are not for you. Tops with a belt around the waist or jackets with a cinched waist look great on you.
Pants- You can wear any style of pant that you’d like. Trouser cut pants accentuate your hips. Make sure you buy pants that with a waist that drops down from the widest part of your body.
